Pricing
Simple pricing for every VIN check.
One-time consumer packages and business memberships, priced on our servers. Every report states what its data covers — and findings reflect only the data returned, never a guarantee about the vehicle itself.

Annual memberships cancelled inside the 7-day cancellation window are recalculated at $4 per completed VIN check, never below zero. A recorded refund entitlement does not mean money has already been returned.
How pricing works
What you are paying for
Consumer packages are prepaid VIN credits
You buy a package once; each completed VIN check uses one credit. Credits are recorded in an append-only ledger on our servers.
Failed checks do not permanently consume a credit
If a report attempt fails or the data source is unavailable, the credit is reversed under the implemented ledger rules — you are not charged a credit for a check that did not complete.
Business membership and usage are separate charges
The membership price covers the account; the $2.20 usage charge is recorded only when a VIN check completes successfully — never for failed or unavailable attempts.
Refund entitlements are recorded first
Cancellation produces a server-recorded refund entitlement. A displayed entitlement does not mean money has already been returned; refunds are processed separately and recorded.
Inside every check
What is included
Lien-related record screening
Lien records returned by our data sources for the VIN, presented with the recorded details where the source provides them.
Theft-related record screening
Screening against the theft-related data made available to us. Every result states the scope of the data that was checked — we never promise that every record anywhere is found.
Vehicle information
Identity details returned by the available data for the VIN you submit, so you can confirm the vehicle matches its paperwork.
Secure report access, stated limitations
Reports open through private access links. Every report carries its limitations statement, and some findings require staff review before delivery.
Questions
Pricing questions, answered plainly
What happens if a VIN check cannot be completed?
The package credit is reversed under the implemented ledger rules, and business usage is not charged — the $2.20 usage charge exists only for successfully completed checks.
Can I use package credits for different vehicles?
Yes. Each credit covers one VIN check, and each check can be a different VIN — a five-VIN package can screen five different vehicles.
What is included in a business membership?
The organization dashboard, team member access, VIN order and report history, usage tracking, and billing history. Memberships do not include prepaid VIN credits — each successfully completed check is billed separately at the server-recorded usage price.
When is the business usage charge recorded?
Only when a VIN check completes successfully, exactly once per completed check, in an append-only server ledger. Failed or unavailable attempts are never charged.
Does a no-record result prove there is no lien?
No. A no-record result means the data returned for your request contained no matching record — it is not a guarantee that no lien exists, and it does not replace verification with a titling authority or DMV.
How do refunds and cancellations work?
Annual membership cancellations inside the 7-day cancellation window are recalculated at $4 per completed VIN check (never below zero), producing a server-recorded refund entitlement. A recorded entitlement does not mean money has already been returned; refund processing is a separate, recorded step.
